Jupiter is said to be the planet that establishes of being benevolent, philanthropic, beneficent, hopeful, generous, merciful, sympathetic, truthful, pure, jovial, honest, pious and devotional.

Jupiter is the giver of health, wealth, progeny, knowledge, wisdom and happiness and his influences are extremely beneficial.

But Jupiter, the planet of fortune is not very beneficial to all the signs.
Aries ascendant will have Jupiter ruling the 9th and 12th house and makes it very beneficial for this ascendant.

The Taurus ascendant establishes Jupiter more to a malefic situation, as then Jupiter rules the 8th and 11th houses.

For Gemini rising, Jupiter rules the 7^th and 10^th house, which is considered as not as good for too much movements on the ascendant.
