Gaining is a process of
ending, the search for result, for success and having things is the ever
binding coming to an end.
We are
seeking death, only we call it result, goal, purpose and wanting to arrive at
the ideal.
We do not see the wasteful destructiveness of struggle, but desire to be free of it through gaining a result.
We do not see the truth of the struggle, of conflict, and so we use it
as a means of getting what we want, the most satisfying thing; and that which
is most satisfying is determined by the intensity of our discontent.
The living force of desire
for result always ends in gain; but we want a never ending result. The very
desire to be free is also a desire for a result. Expectations and hope are the
only happiness in that.
As the state of
experiencing fades, the real experience begins.
When the inexhaustible
experience is free of memory, then the search for results begins. The mental
seeking for a result and purpose becomes the end of things. When the experience
is alive and without any schemes of a tomorrow self, only then there is the
inexhaustible abundance and the gain we deserve.
That makes the ever lasting
pain a better state than the pleasure that passes away.
The eyes of the world are
like a drop in the sea, the eyes within holding the universe as a drop rising
from the ocean of the heart.
