We are bound of seeking in a confined area of thought.
The mind can imagine, speculate, it hears the noise
of its own chattering, but it cannot listen to that which is outside of itself.
Seeking becomes measuring, if the mind ceases to measure there is no need to compare.
Only that which has no birth and ending is beyond the reach of the mind in time.
Knowing is only a
verbal condition, a process of recognition; and what is recognized cannot be
silenced.
There is a method for the coming
and the open heavens, without the mind and its imagination.
When there is a motive however subtle, one is only buying into the silence one seeks.
To be the
receptor in the state of search; it is a reaction, a process of denial with
regard to any idea made by the mind. It is kind like the opposite of seeking and
becomes the known.
This stillness of the mind
takes place spontaneously when the teacher or the parent really wants to
understand the child. No effort, no conflict is involved when embracing all
possibilities.
The state of search comes
into being, that cannot be sought or found.
Being aware of the truth and the falseness of seeking creates the mental faculty that is no longer caught in the method of seeking and thinking.
When a feeling of being unburdened
with a sense of relief is present, the mind is becoming still, simply quiet and
awake, is the state of search. Total awareness is in that stillness.
Truth is a living thing and
it is a state of search, called God presence.
