The Elephant Spirit

Indigenous tribes in the east of Angola believe that elephants carry the spirits of their ancestors as keepers of pure spirits, and protecting these elephants is a sacred duty.

Legends get told about a woman at the river taken off her elephant body to become human and a bride to share the remarkable similarities rooted in complex social structures and intelligence, including high levels of empathy and cognitive abilities.

Lifelong companionship, that allows for emotional depth to take place to establish self-awareness and emotional maturity.

Elephant behavior adapts over time, adapted to knowledge in migratory routes and food sources that brings forth extensive social learning. Ganesha, the half-human, half-elephant, is a deity in Hinduism and known as the remover of obstacles.

The elephant god is related to the planet Jupiter, in which the union of intellect and wisdom provides the ability to overcome all adversities. Jupiter is the lawgiver that serves as a profound metaphor for living in harmony with nature and human spiritual existence. Ethical values and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong through deep inner focus and spiritual insight provide a timeless memory that is very receptive to true knowledge.

Ganesha clears karmic hurdles in life, like the elephant clears his path with ease. The broken tusk symbolizes sacrifice and humility, learning that one must give up the ego and find comfort in divine purpose.

The spirit of Ganesha represents the capacity to digest all the good and bad experiences in life, to be grateful, and to establish loyalty and respect that leads to harmony.

Jupiter is about expansion and family extension; it indicates in a female chart the spouse to whom she will be attracted.

He provides the spiritual journey one needs to face in this life with the sattvic quality of a great teacher to guide the inner and outer nature with the law of creative evolution and self-realization.

The elephant spirit, or Ganesha, is the great optimist and divine grace that can fulfill all the needs, without even seeking it.

The largest mammal and the largest visible planet in our near solar system show the immensity of space and majesty of divine presence. The spirit of mercy and compassion is the rain sent on humanity, where the soul is yearning to be liberated.
