The Sea Within

From cold-water shore to open, wide space, my heart conceives its thoughts in place.

It births desire with views I admire, waves longing for far places, rip tides that inspire.

My thoughts draw close to the horizon's line, only to see it recede a gentle, soft design.

My love, a ship that sails into your heart, while morning light calls a new day to start.

Expand my heart to the width of the sky, that cosmos may mirror in my spirit, flying high.

Moved by ecstasy, my heart becomes a restless sea, drawn by night's call and light's mystery.

What enchanted grace, what union to pursue, the vastness of space reveals love's presence, true.
