Rahu the ecliptic node is considered as the Dragons head or mouth in Vedic text and written about in philosophical stories like the songs of Kahir, translated by Rabindranath Tagore.

O servant, where dust thou seek me?

Lo! I am beside thee.

 I am neither in the temple nor in the mosque,

neither am I in the rites and ceremonies

nor in yoga nor in renunciation.

If thou art a true seeker, thou shalt at once see me.

Thou shalt meet me in a moment’s time.

Do not be amazed by the true dragon.

Rahu the Moon’s North Node, is often compared to Saturn and his destructive limitations in some truth, but often acts like a negative Jupiter, where the spoil comes in abundance.

Rahu and any planetary association will have a disastrous effect in some stage, in comes with psychological behavior and physical distress. 

Rahu has to do with much ness and pushing boundaries for more that leads to limitations, as when overeating leads to problems, disrespecting others or disregarding the law leads to guilt and prison time. Rahu therefore in association with malefic planets becomes easily associated with crime or moral wrongdoing.

Females with Venus/Rahu conjunction on the ascendant are the masters of manipulations and false impressions having all the power, whereas in the same time they suffering deep psychological issues of facing the truth. Relationships have very little of values and get disregarded.

Rahu and Mars are prone to accidents and troublemaker, never understanding what is chasing them. Deep fears and association to doubtful characters are the symptoms and indications become violent.

 Cult leaders with Rahu/Sun combination and their desire to change the world with righteous intelligence and administration skills have brought many of their followers as well as themselves through their irrational activities into trouble.

Or even frequent states of frustration and anger if things don’t go the way one wants has the Sun conjunct Rahu, for they need to be admired and appreciated all the time by praising themselves.

The desire for fame has strong Rahu influence with various planets and combinations and though usually of the short lived variety.

Good Rahu combinations with Mercury has a lot do with aviation and are skilled pilots and like to be in charge of things with journalism or broadcasting.

Rahu can have powerful influence to the masses and relationships with work or in private as influencer who creates a positive effect on all parties. When psychological needs become supportive for each other, in productive business or in a team that needs supportive unity of a spirit.

It is always very obvious in a character with strong Rahu influence in the natal chart, which should be, even they do not like it put into perspectives as once power is changing and one need to be aware of its power.

Rahu is adventurous and likes to create new experiences and it is important to use some wisdom and not just do the controlling.

To heal the mind to give the soul a chance is all the sufficient power that comes from the appreciation of God.
