Peace of mind is the
greatest Good. The consideration being second to none is the realization of the
ultimate One in the self.
Some comforts that come from material gain and development are good, but they are only temporary.
The happiness
one get through money, property or relationships and the experiences are all
limited to time. The mental state of wanting more and more creates reason for suffering
hidden within by chasing many ghosts.
One needs to look within
that process, to observe the circle of dissatisfaction that comes with attachment
of material happiness, and realize something more profound that is truly satisfying.
Internal values are the way to true happiness
by observing the truth at all times. The ignorance of the self is the worst
enemy that keeps the mind awakens to the things as they are, to see the truth
of things.
Most people acting out of deep insecurities
and need pretence and arrogance to sustain the ego, creating stress by
maintaining what not exist. The state of mind in situations where one does not
get what one wants with worries and fears are separation from the things one
likes and loves.
The constant preoccupations
to stimulate the mind are the escape from the self, where one has to learn to
see things just as they are and that is the noble truth. It is known in spiritual
terms as delusion, keeping goodness and happiness entering the mind.
To contemplate on these
tendencies in order to become aware and not let emotions get in the way creates
clarity. The only thing these mental dilemmas creating are fears of being
creative in virtues, focus and wisdom.
The greatness of a peaceful
mind is the essence of spiritual awareness and the development of compassion to
the self and God.
The calmness of the mind is
the experience and the sense of inner satisfaction when focusing on things as
they are and joy will arise with that contentment, as true peace and happiness
can only be found within.
Focus is the alphabet of
wisdom and needs the pondering state or it
does not arise, in time words become sentence and liberation approaches
itself. If one puts an effort on a daily basis, to focus in creative
observation, one will start to gain a momentum of its own.
If one works in this way with
mindfulness, one will truly be developing the mind. Mental reflections on
kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity are contemplative methods
of great benefits.
Establishing a sense of
goodwill for one self is a progress, just by being grateful for once health and
state of being.
If one keeps applying
loving awareness to the mind it will naturally begin to experience a peaceful
state of contentment and naturally free of irritation.
Prayers like our father,
who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name…., are inclining the mind towards
thoughts of compassion through cultivating loving devotion to life.
One should stay away from
news and its endless negative propaganda to keep people in fears with
undermining politics.
One needs to foster an
awareness of what is already good and abundant in life and be a part of that
abundance.
The consideration that
things will change regardless its difficulties must be contemplated, or must
become the inquiry with a spiritual consultant to develop awareness of the
source of energy and its working possibilities.
The virtue of equanimity to
accept once situation is half way knowing the trouble that is coming to face
the truth.
All things which one seeks
in God such as strength, joy and peace are all found in truth, for truth is the
light which illuminates the whole life. Spiritual attainment is to become
conscious of the beloved who is formed in the heart by choice of the mind.
All that lives is spirit
and all that dies is matter.
