The Sanskrit word Karuna
means subtle compassion or mercy and is a significant concept in Hinduism and
Buddhism, representing a fundamental aspect of enlightened understanding
focused around the calmness in healing applications to be of service to eliminate
the suffering of others.
Karuna is the memory of a
relaxed knowledge which is in it self an assurance of sentiments bringing
empathy to the circumstance.
The reflection of
reassurance in compassion as a fundamental quality in human experience and
spirituality as the natural love affection that is felt immediately in the
presence of the healer, is the real tenderness and the psychological receiving
sympathy.
Karuna embodies the compassion
towards alleviating the suffering of all beings in need and represents a vital virtue,
which cultivates through ethical behavior and a positive mental state,
encouraging compassionate actions.
Philosophy and psychology
are the requisitions in many monastic institutions, where great compassion is
practiced to prevent the monks from experience any passion whatsoever to focus
on activities that is directed at alleviating the suffering of all, as essential
virtue.
Karuna embodies empathy and
compassion, often linked to sorrow from separation and loss. It manifests in
various poetic forms and is a critical sentiment within the emotional spectrum,
through meditation and prayers. It emphasizes the interconnectedness of
humanity and its moral responsibility across all cultures.
Karuna is the sentiment as
well, that reflect the sorrow which is interwoven with the predominant theme of
love through the separation with God.
Karuna, in the context of
Ayurveda, emphasizes a methodical approach of rebalancing a life style to
promote an overall health through sattvic thinking and living.
Karuna is the cosmic truth
which reflects itself in the astral body and is acknowledged through Jyotish
and the awareness of the celestial light influences at birth and one first
breath, being in direct contact with the total universe.
The compassion towards the
truth in the self is the only core awareness that can outwit the elements of
karma.
Denial is a psychological defense
mechanism where people refuse to accept the truth to avoid painful emotions not
being able to be honest.
Inferior issues of not
having an education or being brought up with pretenses parents are usually the
trigger elements to overcome short-term relief, but prolonged denial are the
shallow waters that create unhealthy fickle behaviors, which will trigger
serious consequences and patterns of unreliability.
Karuna is the psychology as
the science of the human mind in spiritual terms based on compassionate
meditations. It is to separate the unhappiness and its way out of this state of
mind as the root cause of unhappiness identified as the primeval ignorance by
the ego. Which create the notion as individual entity, the doer, the feeler and
the thinker? When the mind takes on more sattvic and purified elements it
awakens from the illusion of identification and naturally establishes compassion,
known as Karuna.
Karuna compassion is the
virtue of true enlightenment and the basic of all spiritual endeavors that
needs to be conquered in the self.
