The problems that confront each one of us cannot be solved by politicians or by specialists.
Our problem is complex and can be solved only as a total process of the response to life.
Without understanding
the self in subtleties, superficial or however complex, must be understood.
Our conflict is in relationship, at all the levels of our existence, then for so far the escape from it only brought about ignorance from poor education.
All beliefs are dogmas
and are only a superficial escape from the reality of relationship and
separation.
The replacement of one
ideology by another is not the solution to the problems. It needs the
understanding of the self as a total process.
Humanity cannot be
integrated by an idea, however noble and extensive that idea may be, for it is
merely a conditioned response.
Truth can never be the
product of self-projected authority.
The truth of another is not
the individual truth and not valid in understanding the self reality.
The mass is an abstraction which is exploited by religion and politics, all bringing in the testimony of an ideology. They may put on an air of certainty and all-knowingness and shifting the problem to the individual.
The individual is important to realize
the present structure of existence without self-projected ideals and conclusions.
The crisis cannot be
dissolved by another set of self-projected ideology, for the problem is the
inadequate response to the new, changing and challenge of life.
It is not the strengthening
and conditioning in religion or social behavior, that will bring peace to the
self and to the world.
From the moment of discovering
the self truly, it establishes directly a new relationship that works like a
mirror in which one can see the self. The
nature of virtue is to bring liberation from confusion.
True intelligence and virtue
is freedom, the clarity of perception is the self-knowledge and the beginning
of wisdom that will resolve all problems.
