The fatherly love of God
for humans is the human reciprocal love, for God and in each other and is
called agape.
Love that involves passion
or lust is the desires of physical sensations called Eros. Philia is the affectionate
love that involves friendship or a concept of platonic love indicating a
figurative love or affinity.
Agape is defined as
unconditional love and is felt by a person willing to do anything for someone
special, without any expectation.
Storge is the natural love
that family members have for one another and describes the love that siblings
feel towards each other, and felt in distant relationships.
Mania is obsessive love
that reaches the point of unhealthy obsession resulting from deep psychological
issues.
Ludus means game or play
which fits the love of courtship and noncommittal love, just looking to have
fun or a prize to be won.
It is a friend with
benefits situation and is related to the playful word of ludicrous. Pragma is
love based on duty, obligation, or logic in business or politics relationship
because of financial reasons or because they have more to lose by breaking up
than staying together and being pragmatic.
Agape makes one worthy by
the strength and power of love, in such a way that it makes all beautiful.
Emotional intelligence and
its love definition works far beyond the goodness as truth, that what makes it
a divine quality.
Leadership and its dramatic
temperance of seeking admiration in pretence of social welfare are stating the
character, in that which is most needed.
The only way that love can
last a lifetime, when it is unconditional, for love is not determined by the
one being loved, but rather by the one choosing to love.
Making one belief in love
is a conception; the love of agape is the language of faith and its conviction.
