♫ I can’t get no satisfaction and that it is a good thing to be
discontented.
When desires are not
fulfilled and the anxiety of anticipation is the best thing coming from the
ceaseless drive of disappointments, then we are vulnerable and open to all
doors of temptations.
The mind that is caught in
the pain of discontent creates the feeling of something extraordinary in itself.
The ache of uncertainty and
its taming to find satisfaction is the golden goose in the industry that kills the
world.
Contentment is a flame that
lights the nature of gratitude, ethical respect and it opens the mind to the
horizon and sees the vulnerability of love.
That light must be kept
burning brightly and we will experience that discontentment only in pain, when
it is resisted.
To understand the significance
of discontent, the search for certainty must cease. Discontent cannot serve as a foundation for things to come, no
matter how much effort one makes.
Contentment and discontent
are like the two sides of one coin.
Discontent is to smother
the rich flame of life, whereas the contended light provides the light to all
true riches.
A diamond never looses its
natural quality, the cutting and polishing makes it only suit the market.
A grateful person is rich
in contentment, knowing that the subtlety of guilt is the root of
discontentment.
If we can say no to covetousness, then we are
ready to say yes to contentment.
